Home Depot to Pay $17.5 Million in Multistate Settlement over 2014 Data Breach

Yuma, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that The Home Depot, Inc. (Home Depot) has agreed to pay Arizona over $265,000 to resolve allegations stemming from a 2014 data breach that compromised roughly 40 million credit and debit cards nationwide.

Laredo, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents working collaboratively with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Laredo Police Department (LPD), apprehended 30 individuals in two separate human smuggling harboring cases that were developed within 12 hours of each other in Laredo.
