Houston, Texas - Crane Company (Crane) has agreed to pay to the United States over $4.5 million to resolve allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by failing to comply with Military Specification (Mil Spec) Mil-V 24624 for certain high performance butterfly valves and requirements for inclusion on the Qualified Products List (QPL) where the valves appeared. The valves were supplied for use in U.S. Navy ships.

Dallas, Texas - A Texas man was sentenced Wednesday to 87 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for his role in directing subordinate Aryan Circle (AC) gang members to assault and inflict serious bodily injury on a victim.

SUV and Home Fire 1700 block of west 25th Street

Yuma, Arizona - On Sunday, just before 3:00 pm, a house fire was reported in the 1700 block of west 25th Street. Yuma Fire Department personnel arrived to find a fully involved SUV parked next to a house at 1766 W. 25th St. with fire spreading to the home. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down and extinguish the fire.
