Justice Department Secures Denaturalization of Child Sexual Abuser and Four Somalia-Born Individuals Who Falsely Claimed to be a Family

Austin, Texas - On April 11, the Department of Justice secured the denaturalization of two individuals – one convicted of engaging in sexual contact with a minor, and the other who fictitiously created a family to secure a Diversity Immigrant Visa. Judge Joe Fish of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas entered an order to revoke the U.S. citizenship of Emmanuel Olugbenga Omopariola, and Judge Susan Richard Nelson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota entered an order to revoke the U.S. citizenship of Fosia Abdi Adan.
