Yuma Labor Day DUI Detail

Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Police Department is conducting an impaired driving detail on Friday, September 3rd, Saturday, September 4th, Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th, 2021. Additional officers will be used to rove city streets looking to stop and arrest drivers who are impaired by alcohol or drugs. These DUI patrols are, in addition to regularly scheduled patrol officers, all looking for the signs of an impaired driver behind the wheel.

Yuma, Arizona - On Sunday, August 29, 2021 the Yuma Fire Department received a mutual aid request from California authorities regarding a Task Force deployment to the “Caldor Fire” burning in the Eldorado Forest of northern California near the Nevada border. At 3:00 am this morning (Monday) an Engine and 4 YFD personnel left Yuma to meet in Westmoreland, California with the other members of the Imperial Valley Task Force.
