Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich, along with a coalition of attorneys general from 47 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories, have reached a $573 million settlement with one of the world’s largest consulting firms, McKinsey & Company (McKinsey). The settlement resolves investigations into the company’s role in working for opioid companies, helping those companies promote their drugs, and profiting from the opioid epidemic.

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is asking the U.S. District Court in Arizona to rule the new policy violates federal law and Arizona’s existing agreement with DHS.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Brnovich announced Tuesday that he is part of a bipartisan coalition of 35 attorneys general seeking to ensure their offices can continue to fight against unwanted and harassing robocalls. Specifically, General Brnovich filed an amicus brief in Lindenbaum v. Realgy, arguing that the Telephone Consumer Protection Act’s (TCPA) robocall ban was enforceable from 2015 to 2020.

Des Moines Iowa - An Iowa woman pleaded guilty Thursday for unlawfully using a former Department of Justice contractor’s government computer to access government records and to obtain sensitive, non-public law enforcement information, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General Nicholas L. McQuaid of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.
