FTC Enters Global Settlement to Resolve Reverse-Payment Charges against Teva

Washington, DC - The Federal Trade Commission has reached a global settlement resolving pending claims in three separate federal court antitrust lawsuits involving subsidiaries of pharmaceutical manufacturer Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. If approved by the various courts, the stipulated order will prohibit Teva from engaging in reverse-payment patent settlement agreements that impede consumer access to lower-priced generic drugs.
ACFY $7,200 grant award extends reach of Veterans Art Project

Jackson, Mississippi - Nine real estate investors have been sentenced for their role in a conspiracy to rig bids, in violation of the U.S. antitrust laws, at public real estate foreclosure auctions in Southern Mississippi, the Department of Justice announced.
