Chinle Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Sexually Abusing Two Young Girls

Phoenix, Arizona - On March 16, Jarett James, 34, of Chinle, Arizona, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan to life imprisonment after being convicted of sexually abusing two girls between the ages of 10 and 12. The crimes took place on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation in 2011 and 2012.

Phoenix, Arizona - Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich issued a cease-and-desist notice last Friday to Phoenix-based YiLo Superstore Dispensary to stop YiLo from advertising products as a treatment or cure for COVID-19. According to information received by the Attorney General’s Office (AGO), text messages have been circulating offering for sale a “Coronav Immunization Stabilizer Tincture,” in connection with YiLo.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced Thursday that his Office has sent letters to three gyms with locations in Arizona – Life Time Fitness, Mountainside Fitness, and Planet Fitness, encouraging them to change in-person cancellation policies. In the letters, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) urges the gyms to allow consumers to cancel their memberships remotely during, at a minimum, the time a national and state health emergency is in place.
