Wellton, Arizona - On Thursday, January 10th, learn more about the furry heroes of the Arizona Department of Corrections at 10:30 a.m. at the Wellton Library! DOC officers will discuss the types of dogs selected, how dogs are trained, and what tasks they’re trained to perform as part of the DOC’s K-9 unit. Watch one of the dogs in action with an officer.
