Yuma, Arizona - Today at 12:46 P.M., Gila Ridge High School was placed on a lock down due to a report received that a student possibly had a weapon.
The student was located within minutes of the lockdown being put in place. The weapon was found to be an air soft type gun with foam pellets. The student was taken to the school office and interviewed by the School Resource Officer also by the School Administration. The lockdown was lifted within ten minutes of being put in place. The student is being dealt with by school officials.
