Yuma, Arizona - AWC Trio Talent Search is holding a “First-Generation Steps” event for seventh-grade students in the program to learn about careers, pursuing higher education, and team building. They will also participate in AWC’s 2nd Annual First-Generation College Student Celebration.
Talent Search is a federally funded grant program through the U.S. Department of Education. It’s designed to help students graduate from high school and continue on to college, ultimately earning a post-secondary degree. Eligible students are potential first-generation college students, and/or income eligible.
