Washington, DC - The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the horrific terrorist attack today at a Catholic church in Normandy, France.  We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the murdered priest, Father Jacques Hamel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the other victims of the attack as well as the parishioners and community members of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.

Washington, DC - Good Food Concepts, LLC, doing business as Ranch Foods Direct, a Colorado Springs, Colo. establishment, is recalling approximately 2,606 pounds of non-intact beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

Washington, DC - The Federal Trade Commission, through its claims administrator, has begun be mailing more than 321,982 checks totaling nearly $9.7 million to consumers identified as victims of an illegal credit card billing scam operated by J.K. Publications and other defendants. The operators of this scam made unauthorized charges on consumers’ credit and debit cards for purported Internet services.
