Commercial Sprinkler Save at the Alsco facility

Yuma, Arizona - This morning, just after 1:00 am, an alarm was reported indicating a fire sprinkler activation at the Alsco facility, 3231 South Florence Lane. Yuma Fire Department and Marine Corps Air Station Fire Department personnel arrived to find heavy smoke in the building. Entry was made to the facility and it was found that a fire had occurred involving several large bags (approx. 250 lbs. each) of restaurant linen products. The fire had been contained and extinguished by the fire sprinkler system.

Yuma, Arizona - New research shows that more than half of forward-facing car seats are not used properly because of one misunderstood but essential step in installation: attaching the top tether. In fact, in a 2016 study of those who came to car seat checkup events, 64 percent of forward-facing car seats with harnesses were not attached using the tether.

The meeting is one of several ongoing exchanges held by the United States and Brazil to strengthen bilateral cooperation in nuclear disarmament and arms control, export control, as well as nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons nonproliferation.
