Governor Ducey Announces Retirement Of AHCCCS Director Tom Betlach

Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey today announced that Thomas Betlach, director of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), will retire in January 2019, after 27 years of distinguished service to the state of Arizona. Mr. Betlach led Arizona’s Medicaid agency for the past nine years and served as its deputy director for the prior eight years.

Kennedy Space Center, Florida - The powerhouse that will help NASA’s Orion spacecraft venture beyond the Moon is stateside. The European-built service module that will propel, power and cool during Orion flight to the Moon on Exploration Mission-1 arrived from Germany at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Tuesday to begin final outfitting, integration and testing with the crew module and other Orion elements.

Yuma, Arizona - Bring in cans of food to pay for your overdue fines during the 29th Annual Food for Fines program at Yuma County Libraries! From 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 3rd until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15th, one dollar in overdue fines will be cleared for every 10 oz. (or larger) can of food that is donated.
