Yuma, Arizona - The Foothills Library Book Club will meet Saturday, January 13th, at 10:00 a.m. This month, participants are invited to read any book by Agatha Christie for an author study. All are welcome to attend.

Chinese Language and Culture

Yuma, Arizona - Kweiman Yang, Professor of Mathematics at Arizona Western College, will visit the Foothills Library in January 2018 to present “Chinese Language and Culture.” Her sessions are designed to offer the basics needed to study the Chinese language, and to introduce various aspects of Chinese culture. There is no charge to attend.

Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma will again offer a drop-off site for those who wish to safely dispose of their natural Christmas trees.

Christmas Holiday DUI Enforcement detail results

Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Police Department conducted an Impaired Driving Enforcement detail From Friday, Dec. 22nd through Monday, Dec. 25th, 2017.  This detail was conducted with assistance from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.  The focus of the detail was to apprehend impaired drivers and discourage others from driving while impaired.

Andrew Zollman will present “Intro to WordPress”

Yuma, Arizona - Learn tips for building a website in WordPress! On Friday, January 12th, Business Librarian Andrew Zollman will present “Intro to WordPress” at 2:30 p.m. at the Foothills Library. Participants will create a basic webpage during the workshop. Space is limited to 12 people.
