The declaration will release state dollars to assist with local response and recovery efforts and ensure appropriate state agencies are at the ready should they be called upon.

Washington, DC - On July 20, the United States will join with Canada, Germany and Japan to co-host a Pledging Conference in Washington, D.C. in Support of Iraq. The reports from Fallujah in recent days on the grave humanitarian situation for those displaced, as Iraqi Security Forces continue their successes against Da’esh in the city, are just the most recent reminder of the human toll this conflict has had on vulnerable civilians. Yuma, Arizona - Recently, the Yuma Fire Department received a fire prevention grant award from FM Global. The grant totaled $1,650 and will be used for fire/arson investigation training. FM Global is one of the world’s largest commercial property insurers and has contributed millions of dollars in fire prevention grants to fire service organizations around the world.
