Phoenix, Arizona - The Bureau of Economic Analysis recently released gross domestic product numbers for the first quarter of 2016. Arizona’s growth came in at a blistering 2.6 percent, tying for the 6th-fastest growth rate for any state in the nation, compared to the previous period.

Phoenix, Arizona - Monday, Rodney Begay, of Tuba City, Arizona, a member of the Navajo Indian Nation, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John J. Tuchi to 235 months in prison, followed by a lifetime term of supervised release.  Begay had previously pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact of a minor.

Phoenix, Arizona - Monday, Michael K. Judy, 62, of Smoke Signal, Arizona, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan to 24 years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release.  Judy had previously pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.
