Washington, DC - As someone who enjoys eating out with my family and picking up the occasional take-out meal, I – like many Americans – want to know what’s in the food I eat. As FDA Commissioner, I also know that more people are eating meals away from home, and our diets are increasingly comprised of foods we get from restaurants or take-out meals.

Washington, DC - "Ask Rusty" Maximizing Widow's Benefits - Dear Rusty:  I am 64 years old, born in October of 1952, and in rapidly declining health.  I took my Social Security early, as soon as I was 62, and now get $1838 per month in Social Security benefits (before Medicare premiums are taken out).  My wife of many years also took her Social Security at age 62 and she gets $787 a month.  From what I understand, when I pass away she will get my full benefit instead of what she gets now.  I'm hoping that's true because she won't be able to make it with only $787 a month. ~ Planning for her.

Phoenix, Arizona - Americans for Prosperity-Arizona (AFP-AZ) is praising an executive order, issued on Monday, by Governor Doug Ducey, known as the “Second Chance Box” that instructs state agencies to abandon the unfair practice of forcing candidates to disclose any criminal record on the first stage of a job application. AFP-AZ is a strong advocate for common sense criminal justice reform (CJR) as a means to empower individuals that have paid their debts to society.
