Yuma, Arizona - This evening at 7:45 pm Officers from the Yuma Police Department responded to the Circle K at 695 S. 4th Avenue in reference to an Armed Robbery. It was reported a subject entered the store, displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Approximately 10 minutes later at 7:55pm, the Yuma Police Department responded to a second Armed Robbery at the Circle K at 2089 S Ave A. During this crime, the subject entered the store, displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money. He left the store in a Southeast direction on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect in both Robberies was described as a heavyset black male in his 20’s wearing a black hoodie with a white shirt underneath, light colored shorts, basketball style shoes, green gloves, and a blue bandana partially covering his face.
No injuries were reported during either of these incidents.
