Yuma, Arizona - This morning at about 4:10 am police responded to the 1200 block of W. 20th place for a report of a male subject banging on doors.
Once police arrived they found the victim, a 26 year old Hispanic Male, 5 foot 6 inches 165 pounds, bleeding profusely from his head and face. He reported person(s) unknown to him entered his home and beat him with a baseball bat while he was sleeping. A blood trail was followed back to his home. Police entered the residence to check for other victims, no one else was located inside.
Once inside the home the crime scene was identified by the large amount of blood on the bed in the master bedroom.
The victim was transported to YRMC where he was treated and released for his injuries.
