Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma has become aware of at least two recent attempts by solicitors seeking contact with residents by using documents that appear to be official. The City advises residents these are private organizations that are not affiliated with the City of Yuma.

We need to be prepared

Hurricanes and earthquakes have taken lives and caused billions in property damage in our country and others. Local storms even did quite a bit of damage in parts of our community and around the state.

High school upperclassmen to go “Off to College”

Yuma, Arizona - High school 11th and 12th graders in Talent Search and Upward Bound programs have been invited to the AWC Yuma Campus to learn more about college. During AWC’s Off to College event, seniors will participate in a financial aid presentation, learn where and how to search for scholarships, hear from a college student panel, and learn how to read an award letter from a college or university.
