Local artists featured in fall exhibits at the Yuma Art Center

Yuma, Arizona - Works by members of the North End Artist’s Co-Op highlight a trio of all-local exhibitions now on display in the Yuma Art Center. 2 The Central Gallery features the exhibit Altered Perspectives, where the North End Artist’s Co-op’s 14 members share all new works in a wide variety of media such as ceramics, glass, natural elements, mixed media, paintings, drawings and encaustic art.

Yuma, Arizona - On Wednesday, at approximately 5:01 a.m., Yuma Police officers responded to a report of a robbery at Circle K, located at 1798 S. 4th Avenue. 

National Take Back Initiative

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.  Bring your pills for disposal to the Yuma Police Department, 1500 S. 1st Avenue on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Construction Site Fire Swarm

Yuma, Arizona - Last weekend we had the 4th construction site fire this year. These types of fires should be everyone’s concern. Every year tens of thousands of fires occur in the United States under suspicious circumstances (many determined to be intentionally set). These fires result in hundreds of deaths and hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage.

The 5th Mayors’ Binational Bike Ride to be held this Saturday

Yuma, Arizona - The 4FrontED governing board hosts the 5th Mayors’ Binational Bike Ride Saturday, Oct. 23. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the east end of the Yuma Civic Center parking lot, 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive.
