Yuma, Arizona - This morning, at about 9:23 am, an injury collision occurred between a vehicle and motorized bicycle at 26th Street at 31st Avenue.
The initial investigation revealed a 12 year old male was westbound on a motorized bicycle on 26th Street approaching 31st Avenue. The male ran the stop sign at 26th Street at 31st Avenue and collided with a vehicle southbound on 31st Avenue.
The 12 year old male was transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center for his injuries, where he is listed in stable condition. No others were injured in the collision.
The intersection was closed until approximately 12:30 pm due to the collision investigation.
