Yuma, Arizona - Yuma City Hall will be closed Friday, November 11 for observance of Veterans Day.
Curbside recycling pickups will change due to the holiday. City of Yuma residents who normally have their garbage picked up on Fridays will have their blue bins emptied on Thursday.
A quirk in the rotating Friday schedule means City Hall will not be open to customers any Friday this November. City Hall will be closed as part of that "green Friday" schedule again on Nov. 18, then will be closed again Nov. 25 as a floating holiday following Thanksgiving.
